Home Boxing Workouts – Sneak Peek

I am just putting the finishing touches on my new Home Boxing Workouts program and because of all the feedback I have been getting about the boxing related posts on the website of late I thought it was time to give you a sneak peek of what we have been working on.

In short the program is designed to get you started over 12 weeks at home and there is plenty of room for progression regardless of what level you are starting at!
Go it alone or grab some gloves, mitts and a partner and you will be in for some of the best workouts of your life!

Strangely enough, through filming the workout videos, I actually found that the shadow boxing (boxing without a partner) to be just as hard as the pad work. To be honest this was a pleasant surprise because it takes away one of the big objections i was hearing, that you need a partner and some equipment to do the workouts.

Well, that objection has been swept away and there’s pretty much no reason why you can’t get cracking!

There’s your sneak peek into what’s been going on behind the scenes.

I really want to know what you think, so leave a comment below and tell me if you want to see a full round or two of the workout.

If I get 20 comments below I will post the next video, straight from the program itself. Not only that but I will draw one name randomly to get a free copy of the complete Home Boxing Workouts program when it launches.

    Hi James

I would actually consider doing this for when I can’t make it to boot camp. I would want to try it out first though to see if it gives me the work out I need (call me a sceptic – I can’t help it.

Being older than most, I have become highly selective in what I can and cant do. However this has stimulated some grey matter so I will give this a good go and hope my shadow doesn’t beat me. Where do I find the girl with the gloves? all the best

Heather….If you don’t get a workout doing this, i’ll sign you up and we can go fight on the pro circuit!!

I was cooked after filming the videos, and we had more than the programmed rest in between ‘sets’.

Looks good, James, and hopefully fun to do as well! Am interested that you found the without-partner shadow boxing to be as hard as it is with one! Hope the final touches to the program go OK.

I agree that Shadow Boxing is a great workout. I was surprised when I realised that it actually worked too but after doing a boxing course where for the first half of the day we just did that I couldn’t move my arms for nearly a week. Definitely works!

I Wish we could do a small part of the boxing in Bootcamp occasionally like we used to. It’s a great workout and fun to mix it up so things don’t get repetitive! Great video :)

I started shadow boxing as a warm up to a boxing class. Now im doing more of the shadow and less of the partner work. Unbelievably fun and with no sore wrists the next day!

I love the amazing disappearing woman act you have going on there James! The power in your jabs and crosses just blows her away, but wait! She comes back for more. What a gal you have. The workout looks great, feel fit just watching you, looking forward to giving it a go.

Now you see me, now you don’t.

Seriously great workout though, you will be amazed how soon you will see results with these workouts.

Good sneak preview James, looking forward to the full workout, especialy for the people that cannot make it over to your gym to do it with the group.

Good stuff. Something like this is always needed; gives you something different and doesn’t require the gym! I would love to try this and I’m interested as to what’s in store for the rest. Nice job.

Dude that is way fast, there’s no way you could do that for 30 minutes.

  • Bron on July 14, 2010
